A new study by Texas AgriLife Research showed that mango can prevent and possibly even stop certain colon and breast cancer cells. Put that together with the large fiber and vitamin perks, and it’s clear that this fruit is sure to keep you living a healthier, longer life.
How to enjoy it:
The first time you ate a mango, it probably wasn’t ripe. Don’t rush these fruits into your diet. Let them get a little soft, peel and eat them on their own for a great snack. Or you could dice it into a pico style salsa, purée it and add it to a marinade with some orange juice and wine, or just add it to a fruit salad and you’ll love every bite.
