#4 Watch What You Drink
Now that you’ve got your food covered, it’s time to change your drinking habits. This doesn’t strictly apply to alcohol though that’s usually the number one abs killer.
Drinking soda, sweetened beverages, and even some juices can stunt your progress. Cutting these out and replacing them with water will help you shed some fat with little effort. If you rely on soda or coffee with lots of cream and sugar for an energy boost, consider some type of energy supplement or caffeine pill. These will still perk you up without any of the unnecessary calories.
