#1 Contains Ellagic Acid
Ellagic acid is a plant compound that acts as a free radical combatant. In addition to acting as an antioxidant, it also acts as an anti-mutagen and contains anti-cancer properties. Ellagic acid is found in a variety of fruits and nuts like blackberries, strawberries, and walnuts, but stems from barley fermentation in whiskey. Topical application of ellagic acid is also found to prevent UV (Ultraviolet Radioactive Rays) skin damage that results in wrinkles. Although you can only obtain ellagic acid from whiskey consumption, the antioxidant within the alcoholic beverage helps regulate blood circulation and creates a gentle glow on the face. Beneath the skin, ellagic acid circulates free-flowing blood in vessels.
