Before becoming the governor of California and prior to his action-packed movie career, Austrian-born Arnold Schwarzenegger became a bodybuilding icon. One of his first contest wins was the Junior Mr. Europe in 1965. What followed included five Mr. Universe wins and seven Mr. Olympia wins. Arnold held the Mr. Olympia wins record for 11 years until Lee Haney won his eighth Mr. Olympia contest in 1991.
Schwarzenegger announced his retirement from pro bodybuilding in 1975 after winning his sixth Mr. Olympia. But, after getting into such good shape from training for his movie Conan the Barbarian, he came out of retirement to compete in the 1980 Mr. Olympia. He kept this plan a secret and ended up winning his seventh Mr. Olympia contest after only seven weeks of training. He officially retired from bodybuilding in 1980. Few have ever become so iconic in their field that they are known simply by one name. Arnold has.

Nice how this story mentions how rich they are, but all have admitted steroid use. Arnold had open heart surgery at 49 due to clogged arteries due to steroid use. Horrible omission of REAL FACTS.

Mr. Deez you fail to realize this article ISN’T about nutrition and supplementation. It only discusses the money they have made from the sport.
What about Lee Labrada? He’s had a successful nutrition line for years.
Lou Ferrigno is worth more than 6 million dollars and Arnold Schwarzenegger did not make 300 million dollars bodybuilding.He made that much including his movie career.

I always thought it was strange how Lou Ferrigno is more muscular than Arnold Schwarzenrgger but Arnold Schwarzenegger always won when they competed against each other.
I thought about this myself, even in pumping iron!

There were some with better symmetry and good mass i.e. Serge Nubret and sergio Oliva but they lacked the business sense to make a fortune and felt comfortable in their Role. How many of us are Millionaires ?
Secondly, The once who are financed BB at that time ( today the same ) are looking for the most charismatic Person which brings the Sport ( and the money rolling ) to the masses.
