One that we were curious about is Pre GYM, from Jim Stoppani of JYM Supplement Source. The company is calling their new supplement “scientifically advance all in one formula for improvement workouts.” If that doesn’t catch your attention like it caught ours, we don’t know what will!
Haven’t heard of Stoppani before?
Well, here’s a fun fact about him – not only is he a scientist, but he has been working out since he was 11 years old. How’s the senior science editor at the magazine Muscle and Fitness, a frequent contributor with Bodybuilding.com, and even has his own website. Needless to say, he is completely dedicated to finding out how to perform in the gym, what works, what doesn’t, and what’s going to put him above all the rest.
And something that makes him different than every other company out there is how serious he takes his company. He keeps a close eye on everything, as he answers all questions that come through on his Facebook and Twitter himself.
Pre JYM Ingredients
So when it comes to his Pre JYM supplement, there’s a lot to digest. As a comprehensive pre-workout supplement, it can be unclear what that means. Something, comprehensive means that there’s a huge array of ingredients in it for a huge array of benefits. But that’s where those companies get you – because they don’t put the amount of the ingredient, there’s a good chance it’s doing a whole lot of nothing.
Not only does this not happen with Pre JYM, but JYM Supplement Source as a whole agrees. When you take a look at Pre JYM, you will find it has complete dosing for every single one of its ingredients. And with this specific supplement, you won’t get any propriety blends. In other words: The company puts its entire heart on its sleeve, so you can check it out.
The formula has a few different substances that come along with it. First, is how the power and strength matrix, which considers of both beta-alanine and creatine. Both of these are used to help increase the overall strength and power of your muscles. That means when you go to lift, you’re going to see a significant improvement.
Next is the maximal pump/vascularity and energy amplifier. This one also citrulline malate – if you haven’t heard of this before, you aren’t alone. This works o increase the overall amount of nitric oxide that is within your body.
Why does this matter?
For a large reason – the more nitric oxide you have in your system, the better your blood vessels can open up. And the more your blood vessels open up, the more blood can flow through them. That means your blood will head right to your muscles, allowing them to recover faster and get better pumps.

These are essential because these three are going to help you recover better and faster. That means the next day you won’t feel crappy, and you will want to workout even more.

Here’s a quick refresher of all the positives you’ll get with Pre JYM: It’s a completely well-rounded and full formula. The company has no issues disclosing all of the doses in the ingredients in their products. There is a huge surrounding of positive reviews and enthusiastic users behind this product. And the most important part: No nasty taste with Pre JYM. Rather, a lot of people really, really like the taste of it.
Who would have thought a workout boosting supplement could taste delicious?
The only negative we were able to find with Pre JYM – it’s a bit on the expensive side. While we searched for side effects, the only minor complaints we found were not being able to sleep, a “tingly” feeling and some bloating.
These are easily solvable, though. If you take it early in the day, you likely won’t have any issues with not being able to sleep. Just mix one scoop of it into a 14-ounce glass of water about 30 to 45 minutes before your workout. And though the company complains it doesn’t matter if this is taken on a full or empty stomach, if you feel bloated, you might want to try it on an empty stomach first. Also, if you are just starting, you will want to assess your tolerance. Starting with a half scoop is likely a good step until you see how you’re able to tolerate it.
Like we said earlier, it’s a little bit expensive. It’ll cost around $35 for a 20-serving tub. Unfortunately, it isn’t in any of the go-to stores like Walmart, CVS, Walgreens or even Amazon.
