# 5 Wheat Bread
Many think that wheat bread is much healthier than white bread. But, not all wheat breads are the same. Those breads labeled with seven-grain or multi-grain may still use refined flour. Whole wheat or 100% natural labeled wheat bread may have less real, whole grains.
Many wheat breads contain high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils and preservatives to improve shelf life. Check the nutrition facts to ensure that the first ingredient is either whole wheat or whole grains. If so, then you have found a truly healthy option.
